Membership Dues and
General Fund Contributions

Membership Eligibility

Membership is open to all persons, both renters and homeowners, who are currently residing and living on a permanent basis in the Zilker neighborhood and are at least 18 years old.

The following are not eligible for membership:

Not eligible for membership? You can still sign up for ZNA emails, though some emails are only sent to members.

Voting privileges are activated thirty days after membership dues are received (or immediately if renewing a membership from the immediately preceding year). Membership and voting privileges expire on December 31.

Good to Know

2024 Annual dues are $12 per person.

If dues are submitted for someone found to be ineligible for membership or if they are submitted more than once for the same person, the dues will be treated as a donation to ZNA's general fund.

Due to the administrative burden on ZNA volunteers, ZNA does not issue refunds for dues or donations made in error or for someone ineligible for membership.

Please note that memberships and donations are not deductible for federal income tax purposes as charitable contributions because Zilker Neighborhood Association is organized as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit and not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

We also appreciate any additional contributions made to our General Fund to further our goals and activities, even if you are not eligible for membership.

Please provide all feedback on your experience and requests for assistance to our Treasurer: treasurer@zilkerneighborhood.org

Membership Support (inc. hardship waivers)

The ZNA Executive Committee is empowered to lower or waive dues for individual members and encourages those in need to request a waiver of dues by any of the following:

Pay Your Dues (can optionally include a general fund donation)

Pay 2024 Dues for 1 Adult

Pay 2024 Dues for 2 Adults

The easiest way to pay your dues, we strongly encourage all members to use this option. It costs ZNA nothing and really helps out our volunteer bean counters! You can also include an optional donation to our general fund. Payment methods include debit/credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Bank Account Direct Debit (ACH).

Note that there is a default "donation" to our secure payment processor, Zeffy, in lieu of traditional payment processing fees. Feel free to set this to $0 before you submit payment.

Other Ways to Pay

Pay By Check - Join ZNA or renew your membership by mailing the 2024 membership form with your check to the address shown on the form.

Pay By Cash - Strongly discouraged because it's hard on our volunteer bean counters, you can bring the 2024 membership form with you to one of our quarterly general membership meetings.
