Photos of Butler Landfill Area West of MoPac

The following photos taken on August 12, 2019 show the condition of the Butler Landfill area west of MoPac. PARD is finally starting to clean up this area, which overlies the Butler Landfill and is immediately adjacent to Lady Bird Lake. Unfortunately, they have not installed erosion controls, other than a short stretch of silt fencing, prior to starting the clearing and grading. Any significant rainfall event will wash sediment into Lady Bird Lake. Click on image to enlarge.
