Event 2 - 30 Oct 2015 (erosion and sedimentation controls partially installed; totally ineffective)

Silt fences were finally installed. However, they did not extend the silt fences across across the driveway entrance. The result was that 2 to 6 inches of sediment was deposited a third of the way across the street.

Event 3 - 04 Nov 2015 (partial cleanup from Oct 30 event; still no erosion controls across driveway)

The mud in the street was mostly cleaned up following another complaint to the City but there was still a significant amount of sediment in the street and gutters. Unfortunately, the mud from the street was placed just above the driveway entrance where the initial problem originated. No erosion controls were placed across the driveway entrance. The erosion will likely occur again. This problem was once again reported to the City on Nov 4. The City notified the contractor about the problems on Nov 6.

Event 4 - 15 Nov 2015 (still only partial controls in place)

Almost two weeks since the initial cleanup, and there are still only partial controls in place. There are two locations where silt fences or other controls are missing. The City of Austin is fully aware of the situation. They notified the contractor about the problems on Nov 6. Mud is piled up against the fence. The erosion will almost certainly occur again if there are any significant rains.

Event 5 - 17 Nov 2015 (still only partial controls in place)

Still only partial controls in place. The photo shows how there is still sediment making its way to the street during rainfall events. The City notified the contractor about the problem on Nov 6.

Event 7 - 28 Nov 2015 (ineffective erosion controls)

A triangular dike has been placed across the driveway behind the fence, but there are gaps between the dike and silt fence. It is totally ineffective. It has been almost two months since the first issues were reported and problems still exist. The City was once again notified on Nov 28 and Nov 29.

Event 8 - 13 Dec 2015 (partial erosion controls)

The triangular dike which was placed across the driveway behind the fence, even though it was previously ineffective, is no longer present at all. There are absolutely no controls across the driveway. There is not as much mud in the street as there was in the 30 Oct 2015 event but that is probably because most of the looser sediment has already been washed off of the site and down the street. It has been over two months since the first issues were reported and problems still exist even though the City has been notified multiple times. The City was once again notified on December 14.
