Membership Dues and
General Fund Contributions
Membership is open to all persons, both renters and homeowners, who are currently residing and living on a permanent basis in the Zilker neighborhood and are at least 18 years old. The following are not eligible for membership: businesses, rent house owners, Type 2 STR owners, future residents, and persons with homestead exemptions outside of the neighborhood. Please see the Zilker Neighborhood Association map if you’re uncertain whether you are living within the Zilker boundaries. Please note that voting privileges are activated thirty days after membership dues are received. All membership and voting privileges expire at the end of each year on December 31. However, a person whose membership has expired enjoys a one-year grace period during which he/she may pay dues and reinstate membership and voting privileges immediately at any time.
- Annual dues are $7 per person (not per household).
- Dues paid between January 1 and October 31 will be applied to the current year.
- Dues paid between November 1 and December 31 will be applied to the following year unless we are notified otherwise.
- If you send payment before November 1 and are already a paid-up member for the current year, the dues will be applied as a general donation.
We also appreciate any additional contributions made to our General Fund to further our goals and activities, even if you are not eligible for membership.
