Event 1 - 17 Apr 2016 (no erosion controls)

Duplex demolished. This lot slopes both to the streeet and to the rear and to the street. The rear of the lot has a very high slope with extreme erosion potential. No erosion or sedimentation controls were put in place following demolition. This lot is in the Barton Springs Zone. Reported to the City on April 18. On April 19, the City issued a written warning w/fee for no ESC and sediment runoff.

Event 2 - 30 Apr 2016 (still no erosion controls)

Although this site has been red-tagged, there are still no erosion or sedimentation controls. This lot is in the Barton Springs Zone. No temporary erosion and sedimentation control plan and a water quality plan certified by a registered professional engineer and approved by the Planning and Development Review Department has been performed as required by Land Development Code § 25-8-184. Reported to the City again on May 2.

Event 3 - 20 May 2016 (still no erosion controls)

The absence of erosion controls on this site were reported to the City on April 17 and again on May 2. The site was previously red-tagged after it was reported to the City on April 17, but the sign is no longer present. There has been 6 inches of rain in the last two weeks since May 2. This lot is in the Barton Springs Zone. It does not appear that a temporary erosion and sedimentation control plan and a water quality plan certified by a registered professional engineer and approved by the Planning and Development Review Department has ever been prepared as required by Land Development Code § 25-8-184. The City indicated that they found no issues with this site when they visited on May 5, 2016, but it is unclear how they reached this conclusion. Reported to the City again on May 22, 2016.
