Erosion Control Issues at 2506 Cedarview, Austin, Texas

This site is in the Barton Hills Neighborhood and drains to Barton Creek above Barton Springs Pool. The site is very steep and the mulch socks that are present in some of the photos are inadequate to control runoff from the site. The site has never had any controls across the entrance.

Photo 3 - Muddy runoff from 2506 & 2504 Cedarview flowing down gutter. Mulch has washed off off the sites and been deposited in the street.

The following video begins above 2506 Cedarview where there is no muddy water in the gutter. It begins to pick up muddy runoff from 2506 Cedarview and picks up more muddy runoff as it passes 2504 Cedarview. The muddy runoff from these two sites eventually flows into the storm sewer inlet, thence to Barton Creek.
